Sonoma County is a county in the state of California that is home to more than 500,000 people. Sonoma County comprises numerous cities and metropolitan areas, including San Jose and Santa Rosa. The County is bounded on the west by the beautiful Pacific Ocean and has more than 75 miles of coastline. One of the things that have made Sonoma County so popular among both home buyers and tourists is the fact that all of the county’s beaches are clean and safe, with every single one appearing on the “Cleanest in the State” list in 2010.

What is the Climate Like in Sonoma County?
Sonoma County, like much of the coastal areas of California, has a unique blend of microclimates and climatic variation. This means that the primary determining factors such as proximity to the ocean, elevation of any nearby mountains, and the location of nearby mountains play a large role in determining the climate for individual areas.
