Home to more than 24,000 people, Seal Beach is located in the western central area of Orange Country, between the Belmont/Naples Shore Areas of Long Beach and Huntington Beach’s Huntington Harbor. The Seal Beach community has a strong history that traces back to the early 1700’s when the community was considered to be a part of Rancho Los Alamitos.

The community of Seal Beach has become a popular location for families looking to off their families the many city amenities that nearby Los Angeles has to offer while living in a quieter, more scenic community. Seal Beach is home to a variety of shops and restaurants along its picturesque waterfront, and draws many to its beautiful sandy beaches. The beautiful waterfront has become a popular area for many popular recreational opportunities, including, swimming, fishing, surfing, waterboarding, and kayaking.

What is the Seal Beach Real Estate Market Like?

The real estate in the Seal Beach area is made up of a variety of styles including, apartment style condominiums, townhomes, traditional 2-story family homes, split level bungalows, and more modern waterfront family houses. Because of the excellent proximity that the community of Seal Beach offers its residents in combination with the number amenities and scenic views, houses in Seal Beach do not sit on the market for long and are high in demand. In terms of pricing, while smaller properties and condominiums start in the mid $300,000 range, Seal Beach is widely considered to be a high-end area, with the majority of properties selling for well over the $500,000 mark, and upwards of $1 million and above.

Seal Beach is home to a number of well-known employers, many catering to the local residents, as well as the thousands of tourists that are drawn to the city’s gorgeous waterfront, and beaches.
