The Gated Community of Paradiso in the City of Indio Ca. which is one of the fastest growing cities in Riverside County. The name, Paradiso means Paradise Lost and now found. For many people, the word “Paradise” can conjure up a number of different ideas and visions. For people familiar with and residents of this gated community, it is no wonder why their paradise is no longer lost.

What is the Community of Paradiso Like?
The community of Paradiso has become a popular choice for young professionals, retirees, and families alike, as it provides homeowners scenic mountain backdrops, sprawling greenbelts and walkways. Additionally, the views of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains provide an amazing backdrop to the many view homes as well as the multitude of holiday and sporting events that are sponsored by the HOA.

The community of Paradiso, like much of city of Indio, has seen a great increase in both population and interest from prospective buyers. This has led to an increase in employment opportunities, recreational activities, and continued improvements to the local and nearby school districts.

What is the Real Estate Like in Paradiso?
Located in the Palm Springs area, the gated community of Paradiso primarily consists of single-family residential homes, with a few two story homes sporadically placed throughout.  Because of the charm, and beauty of these homes, many developers and builders have begun to refer to the gated community of Paradiso as the premiere residential community of North Indio without the country club lifestyle.

In terms of pricing, houses in Paradiso range, and can be listed anywhere from mid $300,000 to well over $550,000. Like other gated communities with homes for sale in Indigo, this community is a part of a Home Owners Association, meaning that there is an additional fee every month. While this additional fee can be a deterrent for some, it does provide residents with a number of benefits as well, from outdoor recreational activities to events, houses in gated communities like Paradiso often benefit from their being a part of a Home Owners Association, as opposed to suffering from it.

What is the Economy Like in Indio?
The continued interest and demand made by immigrants, and people moving to the state, for homes for sale in Indio has led to an increasingly strong job market, with some of the strongest industries being, maintenance, hospitality, retail, agriculture, education, and health care.

With so much to offer residents, and prospective home buyers, it is no wonder that so many people have found their paradise in Paradiso.

What are the Nearby Schools Like?
For parents, the quality of education, and educational opportunities that a community can offer their children is one of the most important factors when considering a home. In terms of Public Education, the city of Indio is served by two school districts, Coachella Valley Unified, and the Desert Sands Unified. These schools districts consist of six elementary, and two middle schools, all of which are rated highly under the California Distinguished Schools Program. The continued development and number of homes for sale in Indio have been the cause of ongoing expansion and growth of both of these school districts.

The city of Indio is also home to a number of private schools, including Christian School of the Desert, which serves students pre-kindergarten all the way up to grade 12; and Trinity Lutheran Child Development Center, which provides a great start to students in both pre and kindergarten programs. In terms of Post-Secondary Educational Opportunities in the city, the city is home to a number of Post-Secondary Institutions, including College of the Desert, and The California Desert Trial Academy School of Law.
